Before he was a king he was a boy and before he was a boy, he was a baby.

And Cyrus was a beautiful baby.

Before Cyrus was a baby, the angels kissed him.

And God whispered a secret into his ears before sending him into the world.

Cyrus was born as a prince and lived in a beautiful castle that towered above the villages below.

But Cyrus wasn’t content to stay in his home of marble, gold and crystal.

Cyrus loved to run into the castle grounds and build things.

First, he built a playhouse, then a tree house and then a huge fort in the woods.

The King was proud of who the young Prince was becoming.

The King knew that his son would grow to rule the land.

Cyrus’ Father (the King) knew his son was destined to do greater things than even he was.

Cyrus was loud!

When he was a baby he cried so loud that he needed to sleep in a nursery facing the woods so his cries wouldn’t echo into the village and wake up the people who were trying to sleep.

When Cyrus was a boy he laughed so loud once that it scared a lion away from the old fire pit.

Cyrus was opinionated!

When the young Prince was 10 years old, he was found arguing with the King’s counselors over whether or not he should be allowed to stay up through the night to watch the stars with the astronomers.

Cyrus was influential!

He was able to negotiate freedom for children being held under bridges by ogres.

Cyrus was demanding!

He demanded justice to those falsely imprisoned.

Cyrus was brave!

He fought battles with panthers and pythons, and won.

Cyrus was wise!

And somewhere deep inside, he remembered.

God whispered to him before he was a King, before he was a boy, before He was a baby….

There was a decree spoken into the ears of the future King before he was formed.

God knew him.

God formed him.

God loved him.

There was a decree in Heaven that was so sacred the angels had to bow and place their wings over their heads when God whispered into Cyrus’ ears.

The angels dare not listen in because the most sacred of decrees was the decree God made into the ears of the ones he was weaving, knitting and forming into being.

As the baby grew into a boy and then to a man, the day came when Cyrus became King.

It was lonely sometimes being the King.

But there was also the whisper and the decree that God had spoken into King Cyrus’ ears before he was king, before he was a boy and before he was a baby…

In the Book of Books it was written that King Cyrus had come to lead at that divinely appointed time for a purpose and a destiny to restore the nation.

King Cyrus would rule with God still whispering in his ears.

And although there were many things this loud, laughing and crying King would do in his wisdom, bravery, might and influence,

His most important assignment would be to honor the sacredness of every secret that God had spoken into every ear of every newly formed life about to be born into the Kingdom.

King Cyrus ruled during a time where many villages sacrificed babies to the witches who would wear white robes - pretending to impersonate angels -when in reality they held the bloody keys to the sacrifice chambers in their pockets and signed agreements in blood insisting on more deaths while wearing their favorite color black behind closed doors when they met around the caldrons of death.

It was lonely being the King sometimes.

But King Cyrus knew that every baby had a whisper in their ears from God and that God’s hands were once spent touching, knitting, weaving each of them into the vessels that would carry them into the kingdom.

King Cyrus watched as the village mother’s cried and grieved and longed to hold the babies the witches had sacrificed. The King watched as those pretending to be angels in white, celebrated another bloody sacrifice while signing death sentences, marching and laughing over the graves of 50 million tortured infants.

King Cyrus became braver, wiser and more influential, vowing to end the injustice.  King Cyrus became even more and more sad for the mothers and cried with them. As a King, his cry was a million times louder than it was as a baby.  King Cyrus stood at the castle window facing the village and cried and cried so loud that it echoed for miles.  As he cried and fell onto his knees sobbing, the people of his kingdom stopped to listen.

As King Cyrus cried louder and louder, God spoke into his ears like he did before Cyrus was even born.  God spoke into King Cyrus’ ears with so many words that Cyrus in all his loud crying and compassion for the loss and sacrifice for the millions of babies, bravely stood up and with his loud, influential, demanding, brave, voice and made a decree that reverberated so loudly that history was rewritten and every bloody signature and death contract was erased.

King Cyrus decreed:

“THE KING in Heaven has spoken into the ears of every unborn baby and whispered into them a divine appointment and assignment for the kingdom. In destroying their lives and allowing this carnage to occur, we have destroyed the fulfillment of massive improvement to the land and the lives of all who live here as citizens.

From this point on, I, King Cyrus, decree (with God’s words shouting into my ears) that we are now building a culture that cherishes innocent life.  We are reaffirming a fundamental truth: all children – born and unborn – are made in the holy image of God and because of this, all babies will be saved. All who plot to kill or destroy will be bound and banished from the Kingdom forever.  The sacred will of the true King in Heaven will be fulfilled.”

With this decree the people shouted. The witches – once pretending to be angels- were bound and thrown into the pit by the armies of actual angels who were loosed into the kingdom to see to it that there will never again be a whisper and sacred secret of God that will be drowned out by the lies that shout out ‘death to the innocent.’
